Software, systems
and architecture.
The experiences, thoughts, and moments behind the work I create.

Hey, I'm Ival. A software engineer based in Bali, Indonesia. I turned my passion for programming into a career, and for the past 5 years, I've been fortunate enough to do what I love every day.
Much of my perspective comes from travel and honest conversations around the table, reminders that good software should always feel human.
A timeline of code, systems, and growth.

My approach stays simple, structured, and adaptable.
01. — Understand the problem from all sides: business goals, technical constraints, edge cases, and the bigger picture behind the requirements.
02. — Explore solutions early through architecture drafts, proof-of-concepts, and rapid prototyping to quickly validate what works best.
03. — Architect systems that are clean, scalable, and easy to maintain across different environments, teams, and evolving needs.
04. — Refine continuously through code reviews, testing, and iteration to write software that improves and scales over time.
Beyond code, I love learning human languages.
I believe learning languages is like unlocking new worlds. It helps me connect with different cultures, think in new ways, and reminds me that good communication—whether with machines or people—is always about empathy.
